These cozy boot socks are quick to whip up, warm and cozy to wear. We love the way the bold colorwork pattern looks in speckled, hand-dyed yarns by The Wandering Flock and Hedgehog Fibres or in solid, high-twist Haven by Shibui. All of these yarn options will result in some super soft socks you're bound to love! The pattern is written for women's size 7, but can be adjusted to fit any length foot for all genders. This delightful design by Caitlin Hunter of Boyland Knits is a great intro to both socks and colorwork, so if you're new to either, welcome! These socks are perfect for the adventurous beginner. Check out our knit kits that include the yarn and pattern - paired up in beautiful color combinations.

Every month we like to start a new knit-along project at Cattywampus. These are fun, casual gatherings with the support of our resident knit pro Jody James and a gaggle of fellow knitters. It's a chance to enjoy knitting a common project along with others. It's not really a class, so you should have some knit skills already. If you want to knit along with us, but need extra help, then please contact us to schedule a private lesson (in person or virtually). Our official knit-along meetups for this project are on Wednesday afternoons 4-6 pm, but you are welcome to knit anytime and at your own pace. Our gatherings are virtual so that we can be together wherever we are!
