July Knit-along: Ranunculus - Mondays

  • Advanced Beginner
  •  / Age 13+

Join us in the month of July in knitting the Ranunculus pullover! This pattern was created by Japanese-German designer Midori Hirose. It is a wonderful way to use lace or fingering yarn without having to be on tiny needles. Incredibly, this pullover is knit on size US 10! The result is the lightest weight garment you've ever felt! There are variations for different sleeves - short, long, and flutter style - as well as options for smaller or wider neckline. We recommend Shibui Pebble yarn with its rich blend of silk, merino, and cashmere. Add in a strand of Shibui Silk Cloud for just a little halo and even more softness.

Get this pattern for free when you sign up for the knit-along and buy your yarn from us!

Every month we like to start a new knit-a-long project at Cattywampus. There's no instructor for knit-alongs, although we will always have someone who is knitting it along with you so that you can lean on each other. It's a chance to enjoy knitting a common project along with others. Our official KAL meetups are on Monday afternoons 3-5 pm, but you are welcome to knit anytime and at your own pace. Our gatherings are virtual these days. Join us on Zoom meeting ID: 959 493 982
