Dele Hat Knit Kit

Made by Woolfolk

2 in stock

The Dele Hat is worked in the round, knit from the bottom up. It's our current favorite colorwork hat and is a great intro to knitting with two colors. This hat is cute, cozy, and makes for a really special Christmas present. Most of the Catty Crew has knit the Dele Hat already, and we all loved the process! It's knit in Woolfolk's Far yarn, which is softer than cashmere and comes in really great colors. We are featuring the Dele Hat as our November Wednesday's Virtual Knit-along. Our knit-along is free, so join us in getting support as you knit your hat!

We had fun putting together these color combinations... good luck choosing just one! Our Dele Hat Knit Kits include 3 skeins of yarn and the pattern. If you would like to knit the large size, please purchase an additional skein of the main color (MC). Needles are not included in this kit, but can be purchased separately if needed.

3 skeins Woofolk Far Yarn:
MC: 2 skeins - if you want to knit a large, you will need to buy 1 more skein
CC: 1 skeins

Samples pictured are size small/medium on Claire.

Finished measurements:
17.5 (20) inch circumference
10.25 (11.25) inch length to crown with brim folded

24 sts x 24 rows = 4 inches in colorwork using larger needles
You should always knit your swatch the same way that the pattern is knit—in this case, in the round. Block your swatch as you will your finished garment and allow it to dry fully before measuring. To ensure proper size and fit, take the time to knit a gauge swatch! It's probably not *as* essential for a hat, but knitting a gauge swatch is recommended in general.

Suggested needle sizes:
Needle size is suggested only, you will need to swatch to determine the needle size needed to achieve gauge. We have beautiful olive wood or steel needles to choose from.
