Our Story
Anna and Kirk Nozaki moved to Ojai in 2013 when seeking a small, engaging community to raise their daughter
Naomi. They immediately asked themselves, "How can we contribute to this place we now call home?" Inspired
by the creativity in Ojai, Cattywampus Crafts was conceived and opened in 2016.

Our retail shop in Ojai, California closed on April 17, 2026 after 5 extraordinary years. We envisioned our
space as a place for makers and lovers of beautifully crafted, all natural goods and loved connecting,
getting inspired, and learning together with so many designers, artists, and craftspeople. We hope to meet
again!
